Kuching: Lun Bawang Food Fair 2011

Lun Bawang Food Fair 2011 (Taken from a draft copy of the food fair programme booklet)

The Lun Bawang Association Sarawak Kuching branch will be running a food fair on this coming 30th July. The fair will be held at Kuching Civic Centre, starting from 7.30am till 3pm. Other than that, sporting activity like futsal for both men and women will be organized.

Themed “Cultural Integration Through Food”, the objective of the food fair is to promote exotic Sarawakian cuisines, especially the Lun Bawang. Other than that, the food fair hopes it could raise RM20,000 for funding its annual activities and programs for members, in particular on awareness of educational advancement among parents and children. This is to prepare them for job opportunities in the Sarawak Corridor of Renewal Energy (SCORE).
