The Airmen and the Headhunters Full Documentary
Premiere date: November 10, 2009 | 0:52:41
This spectacular long-lost story of heroism, perseverance, and ingenuity follows the tale of lost WWII soldiers, their unlikely rescue and companionship with the Dayak tribe (or to be exact Lun Tau – the Lun Bawang and Kelabit) in Borneo, and their eventual rescue conceived by an eccentric British Major — an airway built out of bamboo in the middle of the jungle.
This documentary simply brought a nostalgia of our tribe in the past and by far the one and only video documentary that we could relate to our tribe.
There’s another version of similar documentary made by National Geographic Channel in YouTube: Headhunters of World War II
